The pendant
Is ReachMe a GPS tracker?
No. The QR pendant has no GPS and no battery, so it cannot show you where your item is. It works when someone finds your item and scans the QR code. That gives them a private way to reach you.
Does the finder need to install an app?
No. They scan the QR code with their normal phone camera.
How can a finder reach me?
By chat, or by sharing where they are. They choose what suits them.
Do I need to charge the QR pendant?
No. The QR pendant has no battery.
Which phones does it work with?
A finder needs only a normal phone camera. The owner app is Android-first and is on Google Play.
How do I buy a pendant?
Tap “Buy a tag”. If online checkout is open, it takes you there. If it is not, it shows you how to get in touch and ask about buying one.
What comes with the ReachMe pendant?
12 months of the Protect plan, counted from the day you activate the pendant.
Privacy
Can the finder see my phone number?
No. Neither of you sees the other’s number.
Does ReachMe know where my item is?
No. The QR pendant has no GPS. If a finder chooses to share where they are, that location is approximate by default.
