For travel
Your luggage tag shouldn’t show your number to the whole carousel.
A paper tag shows your phone number to every stranger. A ReachMe pendant keeps your number hidden, and still lets the person who finds your bag reach you.
- No app needed for the finder
- Numbers stay hidden, both ways
- QR pendant: no GPS, no battery
Your number is not on the outside of your bag
Your number stays hidden
So does theirs.
Scans with a normal phone camera
The finder needs no app.
Not a tracker
It works when someone finds your item and scans it.
Two ways to reach you
Chat, or the finder sharing where they are. The finder chooses.
How it works
Three steps. No numbers shared.
Nothing for the finder to install, and your number is never on show.
- Step 1
Tag it
Attach the pendant to what matters and activate it in the ReachMe app. Your 12 months of Protect start from activation.
- Step 2
Someone scans
Whoever finds it points their normal phone camera at the QR code. There is no app for them to install.
- Step 3
You’re reached privately
They can chat with you, or share where they are. Neither of you sees the other’s number.
What the finder sees
A simple page with two ways to reach you.
After scanning, the finder can chat or share where they are. Your phone number is never on the page.
Numbers hidden, both ways
The finder never sees your number and you never see theirs.
Approximate location by default
When a finder shares where they are, the location is approximate by default.
24-hour expiry
Location a finder shares is deleted automatically after 24 hours.
Your number stays hidden. So does theirs.
Can the finder see my phone number?
No. Neither of you sees the other’s number.
Which phones does it work with?
A finder needs only a normal phone camera. The owner app is Android-first and is on Google Play.
How can a finder reach me?
By chat, or by sharing where they are. They choose what suits them.
Is ReachMe a GPS tracker?
No. The QR pendant has no GPS and no battery, so it cannot show you where your item is. It works when someone finds your item and scans the QR code. That gives them a private way to reach you.
Does ReachMe know where my item is?
No. The QR pendant has no GPS. If a finder chooses to share where they are, that location is approximate by default.
